Salk STEM Educators Summit
Southern California teachers and educators are invited to hear from Salk faculty and researchers in a seminar environment, then collaborate with colleagues to apply what they have learned to create Next Generation Science Standards aligned lesson plans applicable to their classrooms. To coincide with Salk’s 2026 theme – “The Year of Brain Health,” educators will hear from Salk Neuroscience scientists, tour labs, and take home curriculum tailored to the evolving high school classroom environment.
The 10th Annual Salk STEM Educators Summit (formerly known as Ellen Potter Teachers Symposium) will take place on Wednesday, September 23, 2026. Registration will open on Monday, August 3, 2026.
Eligibility requirements: Open to high school educators currently employed in San Diego County serving grades 9-12 or GED for the 2026-2027 school year.
