The Salk Office of Community & Engagement (OC&E) is pleased to coordinate with members of our community to host student and teacher educational groups to visit the Salk Institute campus and learn about our science, educational programs, and history.

Please note, an OC&E hosted campus and lab visit does not include the following: transportation to/from the institute, stipends for researchers, nor catered meals. We are able to waive these fees on a case by case basis.

Stipends for each participating Salk researcher's time and materials are $50/hr. Stipends are to be paid by the visiting school or group, unless waived on a case by case basis.
We require at least 1 staff member from your school per 20 students, with a limit of 40 students total. We provide 1 Salk staff member as a liaison for visits.
