Salk Institute for Biological Studies - R Programming in RStudio and Single-cell Analysis Workshop

R programming in RStudio and Single-cell analysis Workshop

The Integrative Genomics and Bioinformatics Core at the Salk Institute is pleased to offer the workshop, R programming in RStudio and Single-cell analysis, for scholars seeking to expand and strengthen bioinformatic analysis techniques. In addition to introducing participants to the bioinformatics and next gen sequencing cores, the workshop is designed to teach scientists the concepts behind R programming and its role in single-cell analysis and provide computational resources to test and run their own analyses.

The workshop will be held virtually on Friday, September 25, 2024.

Agenda

Introduction to Cores/Sequencing – 12:00 – 1:00 pm PT
Introduction to R programming in RStudio – 1:00 – 3:00 pm PT
Single-cell analysis with R – 3:00 – 5:00 pm PT

Interest Form

Due to limited capacity, we ask that all individuals submit their interest to participate in the workshop via the following form. Participants will be selected on a rolling basis and will be contacted via email with workshop participation and login details. For questions, please contact nschenkerahmed@salk.edu.

We highly encourage submissions from scholars who are underrepresented in biomedical research.
