Professor Susan Kaech’s lab recently discovered the sympathetic nervous response’s hormones, like noradrenaline, can “exhaust” the immune system’s specialized killer T cells.
This wallpaper shows exhausted killer T cells with higher expression of the noradrenaline receptor ADRB1 (cyan) surround sympathetic nerves (yellow) in a virally infected spleen. Killer T cells without ADRB1 (red) do not surround the sympathetic nerves (yellow). Learn more »

Desktop Wallpaper/Zoom Background
Installing your wallpaper is easy:
- Click on the link below.
- For desktop wallpaper:
- Right click image to show menu of options.
- Select “Set as Background” or “Set as Desktop Background”.
- For Zoom background:
- Right click image and select “Save Image”.
- Select “Virtual Background” from your Zoom settings and select the image.
Tablet Wallpaper
Installing your wallpaper is easy:
- Click on the “iPad cover photo” link below.
- Touch and hold the image and select “Save Image”.
- Navigate to the photo in your photo album.
- From the “options” menu, select “Use as Wallpaper.”
Facebook Cover Photos
Setting up your cover photo is easy:
- Click on the link below for the full-sized version.
- Right-click and download the image, then upload it to Facebook.
- Select “use as cover photo” option.
Smartphone Wallpaper
Installing your wallpaper is easy:
- Touch the photo you want to use as wallpaper.
- Touch and hold the image and select “Save Image”.
- Navigate to the photo in your photo album.
- From the “options” menu, select “Use as Wallpaper.”
