Salk Institute is pleased to offer a FREE guided ARCHITECTURAL tour Monday through Friday at noon. Requests for reservations are required a minimum of two business days in advance of date requested and can be made by registering online. Group Tours
Groups of 7 or more are asked to schedule an individual tour two weeks in advance. A minimum $100 donation is requested for groups up to 15. Larger groups can be accommodated on a case-by-case basis. Group tours cannot be scheduled during the noon tour.
The Institute's normal business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m.
The Institute is closed to the general public on weekends and on the following holidays observed in 2012:
- New Year's Day - January 1
- Martin Luther King, Jr. Day - January 16
- President's Day - February 20
- Memorial Day - May 28
- Independence Day (observed) - July 4
- Labor Day - September 3
- Thanksgiving - November 22 & 23
- Christmas through New Year's Day - December 24, 2012 to January 1, 2013
