Salk Institute is pleased to offer a FREE guided ARCHITECTURAL tour Monday through Friday at noon. Reservations are required two days in advance of date requested and can be made by registering online. For additional information, call Salk Tours at 858-453-4100, ext 1287.

Individual Groups
Groups of 7 or more are asked to schedule an individual tour. Individual tours must be scheduled two-weeks in advance. A minimum $100 donation is requested for groups up to 15. Larger groups can be accommodated on a case-by-case basis. Individual tours cannot be scheduled during the noon tour.
The Institute's normal business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m.
The Institute is closed to the general public on weekends and on the following holidays observed in 2010:
- New Year's Day - January 1 and 2
- Martin Luther King, Jr. Day - January 18
- President's Day - February 15
- Memorial Day - May 31
- Independence Day (observed) - July 5
- Labor Day - September 6
- Thanksgiving - November 25 & 26
- Christmas through New Year's Day - December 24, 2009 to January 1, 2011
In addition, tours will NOT be available during the following dates:
- January 25-31, 2010
