Salk CESCG collaborates with seven research groups, listed below:

Round I Collaborators:

  • C1 – Dr. Crooks (UCLA): to identify and overcome transcriptome barriers to generating hematopoietic stem cells
  • R1 – Dr. Bruneau (UCSF): to study epigenomics of human cardiac differentiation and congenital heart disease
  • R2 – Dr. Fan (UCLA): for genomic analysis of stem cell differentiation in human overgrowth syndrome
  • R3 – Dr. Frazer (UCSD): for population wide study of functional genomics of drug induced electrophysical phenotypes in human cardiomyocytes

Round II Collaborators:

  • R5 – Dr. Belmonte (Salk): to study molecular dynamics of 4F-induced reprogramming
  • R6 – Dr. Chi (UCSD): to discover gene regulatory networks in cardiomyocyte lineages for regenerative therapies
  • R8 – Dr. Jones (Salk): to define the roles of Yap1 and P-TEFb in differentiation to mesoderm and cardiomyocytes
