Each year, we host 150-250 students and 30-50 teachers and parent volunteers at Salk Institute for all day science talks, lab tours, and a career panel. Students and teachers will meet Salk scientists, learn about current cutting-edge research projects and the fundamental skills necessary for laboratory research.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"btn -expand\" href=\"https:\/\/www.salk.edu\/de\/about\/education-outreach\/programs\/high-school-science-day\/\">MEHR ERFAHREN<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>This program is generously supported by the Anne and Neal Blue High School Science Fund.<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>HEITHOFF-BRODY HIGH SCHOOL SUMMER SCHOLARS<\/h2>\n<p><!-- Interviews will take place throughout the entire month of May. All students will receive an email letting them know of their application status by the beginning of June. We had a high number of applications this year, so we thank you for your patience as we continue the process of matching up students with a mentor for this program. \n<strong>The 2025 Heithoff-Brody High School Summer Scholars Program application will open in December 6, 2024 and <span style=\"white-space: nowrap;\">close March 28, 2025.<\/span><\/strong> --><\/p>\n<p><!-- Every summer, the Salk Institute accepts a group of high school students to work in a lab side-by-side with Salk scientists on cutting-edge research. During the 8-week paid internship students will work in the lab with their mentor while also being expected to participate in seminars, workshops, biotech site visits, and other enrichment activities.
