The Ellen Potter Research Connections For Teachers Symposium – Harnessing Plants for the Classroom

The third annual Ellen Potter Research Connections for Teachers Symposium is presented by Salk Education Outreach on Saturday, October 6, 2018 from 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Teachers attend scientific talks from senior researchers at the Salk in a seminar environment, then collaborate with colleagues to apply what they have learned to NGSS-aligned lesson plans. This year’s theme is “Harnessing Plants for the Classroom”, focusing on the new Harnessing Plants Initiative taken up by Salk’s world-renowned plant biologists.
