Geoffrey M. Wahl, Ph.D. In 1970, Dr. Wahl was awarded his B.A. in Bacteriology from the University of California, Los Angeles. In 1976, he received a Ph.D. in Biological Chemistry from Harvard University. He was a Research Assistant at the University of Utah from 1975 to 1976 and a Postdoctoral Fellow at Stanford University from 1976 to 1979. He then joined the Salk Institute as an Assistant Professor in the Molecular Biology and Virology Laboratory. Dr. Wahl received his present appointment as Professor in the Gene Expression Laboratory in 1989. Dr. Wahl is an Adjunct Professor in the Biology Department at the University of California, San Diego. Dr. Wahl's Curriculum Vitae. |

Yao-Cheng (Leo) Li, Ph.D. graduated with a B. S. in Plant Pathology, 1992 from National Chung-Hsing University and a M.S. in Biochemistry, 1994 from the National Yang-Ming University, Taiwan. Miranda Cox, Ph.D. Graduated with a B.Sc. Hons in Biological Science from the University of Exeter in 2007 and with a Ph.D. in Molecular Medicine from the University of Dundee in 2011. She will be focusing on the p53 tumour suppressor pathway, its role in disease and its potential for exploitation in cancer therapy. Miranda joined the Wahl Lab in 2011. |

Jennifer C. Lin, Ph.D. obtained a B.S. in 1997 in Biotechnology from Rutgers University, New Jersey. In 2003, She received a Ph.D. in Molecular and Developmental Biology from Stony Brook University, New York. She was a postdoctoral fellow at The Scripps Research Institute from 2003-2006. Jen joined the Wahl Lab in 2007.

Benjamin T. Spike, Ph.D. carried out his undergraduate studies in Southern California and in Goettingen, Germany, receiving his Bachelor’s degrees in European History and Molecular Biology from the University of California, San Diego in 1997. He went on to receive his M.S. in Biology under the mentorship of Dr. Wahl in 1998.
