Mouse Tail Biopsy Gauge

Inventors: Caroline Gordon and Joseph Chambers
Potential Uses:

This invention provides a consistent and accurate method to produce ideally sized mouse tail samples for genotyping.

Genotyping requires mouse tail samples of sufficient size. If a tail sample is too short, additional time may be required to get a result, while a tail sample that is too large may be difficult to extract DNA from. This invention provides a quick and accurate way to produce mouse tail samples of consistent length for genotyping.
